Senior Backend Developer

In this position you will part of the core software team that develop our hybrid-cloud data management solutions – encompassing object storage gateways, a license manager module and integrations to internal and external systems and platforms.

‍Role Description‍

Zebware has an ambitious and exciting roadmap ahead! To support and drive development our core software we are looking for a Senior Backend Developer to join our team. In this position you will part of the core software team that develop our hybrid-cloud data management solutions – encompassing object storage gateways, a license manager module and integrations to internal and external systems and platforms.

You will be part of the core software development team of senior developers. Our way of working is agile, and you are expected to take a proactive and collaborative approach throughout the whole development cycle participating in the architecting, designing, implementing, testing and releasing of the Zebware software.

All our backend development is written in Go and the frontend is written in React using Ant Design. On-premises data endpoints are S3 compatible. RESTful APIs are used and GitLab employed for code management.

Your Professional Profile

• 5+ years of software development experience
• Deep experience in Go
• Used to working in agile environments with short release cycles and iterations
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science and / or Engineering

Knowledge of:

• distributed solutions
• containerization and virtualization
• software architecture, design patterns and concepts, to know when to use what

Experience in:

• SQL and RDBMS such as Postgres.
• observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
• REST interfaces
• gRPC and Protobufs
• FUSE userspace filesystem implementations.
• performance profiling of Go applications.

Familiarity with:

• object storage and cloud services (S3, various cloud provides – AWS/GCP/Azure etc., OpenStack Swift, Ceph...)
• cryptographic concepts and technologies such as authenticated encryption with associated data (AEAD) and TLS certificates.

• Love to learn new stuff in order to keep up with changes in our platform
• Fluent in English and / or Swedish
• Eligible for work in Sweden

This position is full-time with placement in our office in central Stockholm. Hybrid or remote placement can be offered.
